Consequently, it is might not quite clear which field measurements or monitoring strategies are even able to capture which process on which scale. Related to that, there are many discussions about how simple or how we can be with our model concepts in order to simulate the impact of land management and land cover pattern on water quantity and quality at different scales. The session aims at bringing together scientists that work on different methods on these issues to bridge these gaps.
