SAMT-CDs will be prepared for all participants. The CDs can boot the PCs and do not change the Hard-disk.

The WEKA package is one of the most widely applied and is open source and freely available for download, and GESCONDA is an environmental science-specific package under development.

GRASS

There will be no formal tutorial for GRASS, however there will be in depth discussions related to open source geospatial tools within the framework of Workshop 13, and you can take advantage of the presence of Helena Mitasova, one of core GRASS developers.
